Definitely the rich team will continue to win trophies and be the most successful teams. It has always been like that and I don't think it's going to change anytime soon.
They have got the money to invest on the best players and they help them win trophies. You don't expect and average team to compete with a rich team that has all the best players in there team. I think I can say at this point that money plays football match and also control who wins trophies and become successful.

Under my watch, I have seen Manchester city rose from nothing to No 1 because of money.
I have also seen Newcastle United moved from Nothing to contenders.
On the irony, I have seen Manchester United with money but have struggled for so many years.
It doesn't end in having money, but how well you use it in the market.
Right from Paul Pogba time till date, Manchester United scout has been making faulty and unprofitable signings which has not transformed but crippled the club.
Most times it's not all about money, but the good use of money.
