I think I agree with that. Some people choose crazy odds, but I prefer a safe bet when it comes to free bets. And if I win, I use my funds for crazy things (in my opinion, multi-odds with x10 are crazy). Although, I once won 9 out of 10 in an accumulator with odds of 2000.

I still remember the final matchup being Arsène vs. Tottenham (I needed a Tottenham win). But I think I played it safe and also bet on Arsenal.

Although these are usually relatively small amounts, the human psyche still approaches free bets differently than withdrawable money.

I believe that most players see free bets as a great chance for slightly riskier bets and, as you say, crazy odds. High risk without real risk for player funds.
