That’s a solid catch. The Ayre connection definitely raises an eyebrow, especially given how aggressively BSV circles have tried to push Wright’s “Satoshi” narrative over the years. When you see Ayre’s fingerprints on the production side and a writer with past ties to one of his ventures, it’s hard not to assume the film is going to lean heavily toward their preferred storyline.

That said, IMDb listings and a writer’s old résumé don’t always tell the full story about the final tone of a project. Sometimes these things start as one idea and evolve into something very different by the time it hits a screen.

Still, considering the timing and Wright’s recent string of legal defeats, a sympathetic biopic would be… convenient, to put it mildly. If this really turns out to be an Ayre-backed PR vehicle, I doubt it’ll get much traction outside the BSV bubble.

I’ll reserve judgment until there’s an actual trailer or some verified production info — but yeah, all the signs so far suggest we’re not getting an impartial take on Satoshi here.
