There are multiple incident that KOL's, Influencer's, and other people promotes these tokens/projects but it will rug pull at the end (they probably know, they probably didn't - let's give them the benefit of the doubt).
Do you think KOLs and influencers care about investors or about their followers? So far I haven't seen such influencers; if so, they won't promote rug pull projects. Rather, I have seen an influencer who charges more when he thinks a project would scam or rug-pull investors. That means he just cares about his pocket and never thinks about investors. Marketers, KOLs and influencers really don't have enough time to care about the project or investors; they just focus on their goal to earn money. I mean, there's Bitcoin that you can invest, but then why do peeps invest in those kind of things? don't put eggs in one basket? is it because of fast money? looking for a new btc that will go 1000x in the future? or what?
The addiction of making quick money leads people to be blind. As a result, investors move to the new projects instead of investing in Bitcoin. They think Bitcoin takes time to double, but some shitcoins double within hours. As a result, they start investing blindly and, due to greedy behaviour, lose funds when the project turns into a rug pull. It's all about making quick money.
