Why do gambling addicts often believe they can “win back” losses despite statistical odds being against them? Is it because a weak mind or lack of will power that they have these doubts ?
What is called is chasing losses. Truth is that it is not easy to let go your loses. Some of the gamblers who are losing would wish that someone just refund them their money back and you see them stop the game at that time. Maybe you called it win back but it is not basically about winning.
