If you lose and you don't care because you had fun.  You are gambling responsibly.  If you lose, go home and beat your wife, then get fired from your job for having a bad attitude.  It is highly likely that you aren't gambling responsibly. 

You gave a very simple example, yet it strongly highlights the boundaries of responsible gambling. The negative impact of gambling is not only about how much money and time you spend during each betting session, but also how you react toward the people around you. If after gambling you become emotional and even end up hitting your wife, then you are acting irresponsibly.

Gambling is meant for entertainment, and you should feel good after gambling, not the opposite. In my opinion, this can be a measure of responsible gambling, entertainment should not turn you into someone who behaves badly. I think this happens quite often, especially among gamblers who come from poor backgrounds, where they gamble with their household money and then end up arguing with their wives at home.
