I'm sure this mindset exists especially among friends who are into gambling and I decided to bring it up here for discussion.

Do you think it's right to reference to others as a yardstick to evaluate your level of responsible gambling?

How do you measure yours?
It is good to only emulate what will benefit us so we can reference what is positive from gamblers that are gambling responsibly, we can use their strategy as a yardstick to better our gambling activities. It is wrong to reference irresponsible gamblers to model after them, in the end we would reach their level of addiction even become worse off than them. We can compare other gamblers gambling habit but it is better for every gambler to define how they want to gamble so they can take full responsibility of whatever comes out of it. The main area of concentration should be on bankroll management, if you get it right with your gambling funds you won't have a problem.
I always emphasise on this particular point, that what contribute almost 78% why we enter into gambling problems base on finance, it's because of lack of understanding the procedures of gambling, in gambling we need to gamble with what that will not affect us when we lose, but some people gambles without thinking of the negative impacts of gambling, so I know very well that gambling is all about understanding and risk, and if you understand the risk that's involved in gambling you will not because of gambling and become bankrupt.
