The title implies all. So what happened today was, I tried logging into my account but failed several time (3-4 tries). Probably because, the caps lock was on, or I pressed log in before solving the captcha, or the code got expired, simply put I wasn't careful enough and it took me several attempts before I could successfully log in.

So my question is that, what happens when someone constantly tries logging in but still fails? Do they get some kind of temporary ban like "You cannot login your "XYZ" account before 15 Dec, 2025" (Like the ones we get when failing our phones's lock), or can we just try infinitely? This is just a curious question, popped into my mind when I faced this situation . Anyone knows the answer to that?
