Stake does require KYC. If you really want to gamble with freedom, then go for casinos that openly say they’re an “anonymous crypto casino.” That’s literally what crypto gambling was made for in the first place.
I am not sure if there is any true and trusted anonymous casino, because in some cases we have seen even non-KYC casinos ask for documents. It's hard to believe nowadays that a casino will not ask for KYC. Even on non-KYC casinos, if they add their terms in a suspicious case or money laundering case, they might ask for KYC. So it depends on the terms; truly non-KYC means the platform will never ask for KYC for any condition & situation.
Casinos that require KYC aren’t really different from fiat casinos anymore. They just slapped crypto on top of the same old system. So if it were up to me, I’d rather choose a real crypto casino than one that acts exactly like a fiat casino but just accepts crypto.
The only difference is crypto casinos have crypto payment methods besides fiat payments. Nowadays almost every casino asks for KYC due to regulations, whether it's only a fiat casino or a crypto casino. Gamblers become helpless nowadays; there are very few casinos that are real but not asking for KYC. So by force gamblers are providing their KYC. Day by day we are losing the goal of crypto casinos.
