Actually, in the first match, after seeing the good batting performance of the West Indies team in the second innings against the New Zealand team, I thought that since the New Zealand team had scored only 278 runs in the first innings, the West Indies team had an opportunity to come back in the match, but the West Indies team had a very bad batting performance in the second innings and was all out for just 128 runs.
And to be honest, we have been seeing this situation of the West Indies team for the last few years, we have not seen any improvement in any of their formats, but they are slowly moving towards the lower rankings.
It's true that greaves and S.hope has played a huge role in previous draw but unfortunately unable to continue it here although opponent has scored such low target, but may be condition were difficult to understand that why thier batting order collapse and rest of thier big names got departure without contribution. honestly west indies has huge decline in few years especially in term of batting may be thier domestic cricketing structure isn't worthy producing such talent whome lead the cricket world. Anyway kiwis get thier lead and more expected to won the series by twice margin.
