Your concern is correct. If teens fall into gambling early, it begins to shape their character in that may follow them to adulthood. It reduces focus, develops cravings for quick money that is considered unhealthy, and forces them into behavior that is risky. It equally destroys trust of family and stability emotionally. A lot of young people do not have understanding of the long-term cost unless it becomes too late. Giving them guide, setting limits, and providing outlets that is healthier is the one way to make sure they are safe from repeating the very same cycle.
When teens gamble at that early stage of their life it could be very dangerous for them as it can affect how they reason towards making money. Their perspective would be that of a shortcut to making money and would falsely be thinking that any form of patience towards looking for money could be a waste of time, because if we carefully look at it, this is the mentality of many gamblers who started gambling at an early stage in life when they weren't yet in the maturity age.
