In a way I think the price of Bitcoin at anytime can affect an investors holding plans, but the way out is to always adjust ones input to fit the current price.
That is, an investor who is DCAing should adapt to the market price and either reduce or increase their investment portfolio to fit their physical expenses and budget, so as not to lose out totally and not to go broke while trying to save BTC for future use.
