I think having money, time, and motivation are definitely important before placing bets because without any one of them, the experience doesn’t feel complete and your chances of winning or even enjoying the game go down, and I always make sure that I know how much I can afford to spend and how much time I have to focus on the games because rushing or being distracted usually leads to mistakes. Motivation also plays a big role because if you’re not really interested or focused on what you’re doing, then betting feels like a waste, and even though some people might just bet casually, I find that having all three elements in place makes it more enjoyable and sometimes profitable. So yes, I try to check that I have money set aside, time to play properly, and motivation before I start, otherwise I don’t even bother.
