For me, I will say that the rich have a means of income that generate money for them, they already have something that gives them money weekly or monthly, so they only gamble wisely, some don't even believe in gambling, most of them can only invest in Bitcoin or any other investment Asset not like gambling, majority of gambling addict are people from the lower level, because they don't believe in hard work,so they prefer gambling since it's not stressful, so for me I think the lower level gamble more than the rich.
I agree with you. Poor people are mainly addicted to gambling. Because they think of becoming rich in a short time. Poor people spend their earned money on their liabilities. They cannot save money. As a result, they want to earn a large amount of money in a short time by gambling.But rich people can manage their money properly. They have various means of saving money. So they refrain from earning money by gambling. But they gamble once a week or a month for entertainment.
You are forgetting that rich people also have expenses, which are much greater than poor people have, and their usual life is more expensive. If a poor person earn $500 per month and spend $400, that does not mean that rich person who earns tens thousands and hold millions, spend $400 monthly and can spend rest money on entertainment or waste on gambling. Show me rich person, who does not want to have even more money, and like you have said, does not want to get them in short time, like poor people.
