The beauty of Bitcoin is that you can adopt it as wish and for whatever reasons you wish, being it for investment purposes or daily usage as currency.
And it doesn't matter what you are going to be called by other adopters. Who cares if a random Bitcoin adopter doesn't consider you a "Bitcoiner" just because you are mainly interested on the investment aspect of it?
It's a decentralized currency in a decentralized market. It's between you and Bitcoin solely. You don't have to adulate anyone, neither groups of individuals. As long as Bitcoin is being useful for you, that is great, and that is the only thing you should worry about.
That is excellent and right way to think of Bitcoin, real value of which is that you can do whatever you want with it, be it investing in long run or spending on daily things. You are correct that it does not matter what other people call you as since technology is free to all and your reasons of using it are private. Bitcoin being decentralized currency, you owe no one anything, and only thing that matters is that Bitcoin helps you, and that is main idea of this kind of free technology.And it doesn't matter what you are going to be called by other adopters.
