Usually if everybody thinks a certain event will make the price go down then the move has probably already happened. Market Makers don’t allow average joe to front run them. It’s like when the Fed is cutting rates, it’s already priced in ahead of the event. We might dump a bit of Japan increases interest rates but most of the move is probably already priced in.
