Rodrygo has always been a star in this team but I don't know why Xabi does not want to work with him appropriately. He wasted his time trying to make him play on the left and now it's Rodrygo that saves him his job. He deserves a special apology from Xabi. He scored a goal in each of the two games Alonso felt his value and give him a chance to prove himself and he proved he never belong to the bench. The proper formation for Xabi suppose to be Rodrygo on the right and Mbappe on the left. He's not taking Vini place but he should be given adequate play time too.
Rodrygo actually did save Xabi Alonso job at Real Madrid. Funny enough, this is the exact player Xabi Alonso isn't satisfy with his performance but actually, Rodrygo is a great player that always prove himself despite lack of adequate playing time. Rodrygo want to stay at Real Madrid,and he has worked hard to get Xabi Alonso attention. Did you watch real Madrid against Manchester City match in the UEFA champions,how Rodrygo hugged Xabi Alonso when he scored against Manchester City?.
