Looking at Liverpool current dip in form, what's more important than pointing fingers is finding a way to rebuild consistency, with or without M. Salah in the squad. Arne Slot is fully responsible for all decisions within the team, and I think regardless of M. Salah statements, Liverpool still very much needs his services. If Arne Slot succeeds in making the dressing room atmosphere harmonious again, then in the second half of the season, they might be able to perform according to expectations.
I don’t think the players were offended by Salah’s statements. We saw how they were practically played for Salah in the last quarter of the match against Brighton to make sure that Salah got a goal. If there was animosity in the locker room it would show in how they play. Slot is the only one who feels threatened by Salah and will do everything he can to make him a villain.
