If you said "Yes"! Then what now happened to the taxes the government are taking from the gambling site as a revenue?
Are those taxes not enough to provide rehabilitation center for those who may fall into gambling addiction that needed help?
I don't know how truth is this that in some countries their government taxes them for gambling winning, meaning both casinos and Gamblers are also paying and yet there are people who are suffering from addiction that needed help from the government.
Why are they so much focused on themselves without even thinking of her citizens, they regulate casinos just to favor them but they wouldn't want to do what would favor her citizens should any of them are suffering for addiction a rehabilitation center could be a correctional place for such person.
What do you think?
Yea, in theory gambling taxes should help fund programs like addiction treatment but as we know that is not really practiced. The government regulations and taxes on gambling are used as a revenue source not necessarily to address the social costs it creates. Alot of countries generate millions from casinos and lotteries, yet there is no dedicated funding for rehabilitation centers and if there are, its always either low funded or poorly managed and obviously a poorly managed facility is not going to help an addict overcome his poor habits. Normally the government should prioritize the welfare of citizens alongside regulation and revenue but what we get is a tragic irony instead, the system profits form People's losses and the people harmed by it rarely get adequate or even no support at all in most countries
