This is very interesting, proverbs are words that carries deep meaning and most times requires an interpretation before it can be properly understood and most times it is used by our elders.
There is a proverbs that says in Igbo language that, if lizard falls from Iroko tree , it will nod it's head in congratulation.
Meaning: If you have done something that deserves praises and you don't get it from any one , you have to praise yourself.
There is another one that says, Lizard has deposited white excreta and followed it with a black excreta on top the white one.
Meaning: Someone has done something very good, but has used evil to tanish the good thing.
