Re: Is casino regulation even worth it?

When the word "regulation" is used in casinos, trading, and exchanges, for me it's something very bad and I will never agree with it. Of course, my situation is different because I live in a truly corrupt country where nothing works well. If you have money and they want to regulate something, paying the government is fine. So, in other, perhaps developed, countries, regulation is synonymous with doing things right.
Regulation is supposed to mean the authorities have approved the service and have watching eyes on it, which could have created some sort of safe ground for the players, knowing fully well that their authorities can't let anything go wrong, but it's not always like that. Not just in your country, it's pretty obvious that in most places anyone with an upper hand can bend the rules and go unpunished. The rules are only more effective when someone without a connection and money to buy their way out is involve.

It's just like they say " rules are meant to be broken " this is the same feat most of the structures with rules face, I mean there is no where that the rules are completely followed, there will always be a way around it and also someone with higher hands or extension to get their way which is just common and the way of the whole system and how it's set up.
Yes, I also think this happens often, but not everywhere. Of course, there are expensive lawyers who, for big money, can advise on how to legally circumvent all the rules to enrich themselves more than other gambling establishments. But overall, I would say regulation is necessary, because without it, things will be even worse. With regulation, there's a foundation and at least minimal boundaries that they shouldn't cross. I don't really want a Wild West; I prefer things that are clear, although other players will say the opposite, and I won't criticize them for it.
