Something happened a few days ago. My friend joined a group where sports betting code is sent now and then, but whenever he chooses to bet, the game dont go in profit, while whenever he decides to pause, people win in the group. He then decided to be consistent. While being consistent, he had a series of losses from that same group, until he decided to stop gambling completely, only to see the recent code keep turning out to be a win.

The outcome of sports betting is not dependent on past events or being active at that moment, each bet is a separate event with its own probability. People often have misconceptions about gamblers. Gambling should never be worth sacrificing ones mental peace. On the other hand if he wants to continue he must develop a plan which should include bankroll management rules & focusing on +EV decisions instead of chasing alternative tips. Therefore consistency is key as long as he has a sound strategy and money management. Bets shoul not be placed only when an opportunity arises, you should trust the math
