We have to take special care of our crypto wallets and they must not be on devices that we daily use on internet. This is one way of countering the crypto scammers that even if they got access to our online devices they won't be able to access your wallets. It's also equally important for us to stay updated about latest techniques which scammers are using to attack the crypto users. Many crypto users take security as an afterthought and start taking it seriously only when they lose something to scammers.
And why you make provision to use a separate device for your wallet and another one for accessing the internet? Make sure that you don't make the mistake of saving the wallet access to any online storage, even if you encrypt it. It's better off if we save it offline, because if the online cloud account is accessed you will lose it to who ever gain access to it.
