The first match of the Womens International Series between South Africa and Ireland Women has been played and South Africa Women have proven themselves to be a formidable team in the first match itself.Ireland Women have been failing since the last series and may have to face defeat in this series as well. Ireland Womens set a very simple aim while playing the first innings which South Africa achieved without any difficulty and took the first lead.Ireland Womens batsmen wasted a lot of balls and scored very few runs while the first 3 batsmen of South Africa Women were dismissed after which they did not lose any wickets.Sune Luus and Miane Smit achieved the aim and also completed half centuries.South Africa womens are performing very well.
My question here is why the South African women's team won't perform formidablely? If we look at the ICC Women's ODI rankings, South Africa is ranked 4th while Ireland is ranked 10th, which means that there is a battle between two unequal powers. And what will be the result of this, we have already seen in the T20 series. And I think that will not be the case in this ODI series either, the South African women's team won the first one and I think they will win the second match tomorrow and I hope they completely whitewash the Ireland team in this video.
