If it happens that the price dumps , it only means that weak miners or weak projects will be taken off. But even at this , the network still keeps adjusting itself and even becomes stronger and stronger because it has been tested under duress.

FWIW, miners who stopped mining after price crashed could have more rational reason such as they use older type of ASIC or use more pricey electricity plan where continue mining lead to more loss. So i wouldn't call all of them as weak.
