You said it: people will use public images for this. Give it some time, and you can access someone else's account by hashing a meme. They should have created a random hash instead.~it would be quite interesting to hear your opinions.
It reminds me of brainwallet, where people assume their text is unique or wouldn't guessed by other people. But with image (and few different file type), compression and various standard would make the hash different which makes brute-force more trickily.
