Today is 9th Group A match of ACC Men U19 Asia Cup between Pakistan U19 and UAE U19 in Dubai. UAE was set target of 242 to win after Pakistan won toss and made 241 runs. Score of Pakistan was lifted by important 42 runs of Hamza Zahoor towards end of game despite UAE bowler Yug Sharma taking 3 wickets. UAE team must get 4.84 runs per over. The game is already on and UAE is batting, but most recent clear news said that they were only at 34 runs and no wicket was lost very early in chase and they have played 5 overs.

UAE U19 team was comparatively weak team, but Pakistan U19 team could not do well. In the end Pakistan U19 team scored 241 runs which was not a very big target. However, this match is very important for both the teams because the team that wins will qualify. So far UAE U19 team has scored 88 runs for the loss of 2 wicket in 20 overs, they need 154 runs to win and have enough wickets in hand. If UAE U19 team can do well in the end then they can win. Now let's see which team can win in the end.

On the other hand, from Group B, Bangladesh U19 team and Sri Lanka U19 team have qualified. From Group A, India U19 team has qualified, now one team is left, let's see which team between UAE and Pakistan can qualify for the semi-finals.
UAE  performance and defeat is understandable, but Pak performance was not better despite the target of 241. Pak players worked hard and struggled to set such a big target and in addition, their bowlers put pressure on them, which made their target even better, which made their win clear. This target was better for UAE because we can see how UAE performance was, which should not make us consider Pak target weak. If Ind U-19 had also given the same target, would we consider their target weak, while Pak U-19 could not meet that target. UAE players scored only 171 runs and could not control their wickets and the entire team lost in 37 overs. They had the balls, they did not struggle, that is why this target became big, otherwise this target could have been a winner for UAE.
