I think news was fake or exaggerated because we have seen market dump many time before. At one stage,  market was at its full potential and price were continuously going up but after change in trend market moved downward and bitcoin reached lower price level. These correction are normal part of market cycle.

Satoshi Nakamoto is not someone who benefited personally from nitcoin. Instead, he created excellent platform for holder and user. No one know whether satoshi is alive or not and there is no confirmed proof about this. There are only rumor and speculation. It is widely believed that Satoshi will never move his bitcoin or manipulate price of btc. Bitcoin has shown strong recovery after every major downturn in past and with patience market is expected to recover again in future. Many people create sensational news only to gain attention and sometime they succeed in influencing public sentiment for short period of time.
