Yes Melbourne Renegades won thrilling game against Brisbane Heat by 14 runs after scoring extraordinarily large total of 212/5 with great century by Tim Seifert and good support by Ollie Peake. Despite brave fight of Heat with 198 runs, with good batting by Colin Munro and Jimmy Peirson, they failed to reach target, as their bowlers gave away too many runs, and Shaheen Shah Afridi had tough first game. This victory shows that Renegades are very dangerous team in this season due to their strong hitting, and yes Heat should focus on improving their bowling to stop teams from scoring so high in future.
Third match of BBL is in progress between Hobart Hurricanes and Sydney Thunder. The toss went in favour of Hurricanes who decided to bowl first. Sydney Thunder batting has done good job by giving target of 180 runs. Cameron Bancroft remains the top scorer for Sydney Thunder by scoring 61 runs. Billy Stanlake picked up 3 wickets for Hurricanes. The batting of Hurricanes is better then Sydney Thunder, after 11 overs score of Hurricanes is 109 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets. Hurricanes are in comfortable position at the moment as they need 72 runs in 54 balls with 8 wickets in hand.
