I do agree that on paper it makes sense but name me 1 team in the last 10 years that even remotely plays in a diamond - there must be a reason why nobody uses it.

LFC will probably play some kind of 442, but in that case it will be a standard one in which Wirtz will start on the left and have freedom to move into the middle.

Anyway - hard to judge LFC assets once again. VVD/Konate are the only ones I think make sense.
I agree it is almost non existent in football these days but you (LFC) played it against Inter. Now that you wrote this I thought I was crazy so I went googling but seems like there are others who think Liverpool played 4-4-2 diamond in that game  Shocked
