Exactly! Milan are serious contenders for the Scudetto this year! They have no European commitments, so they can devote themselves heart and soul to Serie A, which will be a huge advantage for them over their rivals Napoli and Inter, who will be playing more matches in quick succession.
But it won't be easy for them, because in my opinion Napoli and Inter have stronger teams than Milan.
I agree with you, unlike last season that they were no where to be found even in the top 4 but this season, it's been different and seriously with the way they performed last season, I didn't expect them to make this kind of comeback. An added advantage to them this season is that they are not going to be having much games in their hands like Napoli and Inter Milan who are up there with them. Gives them more time to be focused on the league and leave their players fresher after a champions league night football. But it won't be easy for them, because in my opinion Napoli and Inter have stronger teams than Milan.
However I doubt AC Milan's consistency, I think their performance is very poor, This season we can see AC Milan dropping many important points against bottom-tier teams, who they were previously heavily favored to win but they couldn't win. This will be a big problem, in my opinion that could prevent them from winning the title this season.
